Once again we are making a temporary wall. This one is to support the second floor for the eventual removal of the exterior wall. We are not sure how much needs to come down but we are preparing for the worst. We don’t even know if we will get to it this winter but… you can never be too careful! The red circled area is what we fear needs to come down.

Mooreland House 
Unfortunately you are right that can threaten the building itself just take it slowly this is my favorite building in all of Kentucky I visit it regularly by driving past and am in absolute awe of this building please dont ever give up on it!

Hey John! Welcome to the new site! We are trying to make sure we make the Mooreland House even better than she was before. Some building practices have improved… some have not. We are going to use the best of both. The outside will look as beautiful as ever though.
