We wanted to give everyone a glimmer of hope today. No matter how drear things look at the Mooreland House, things will get better. Right now we live in a restored circa 1904 house. When we bought the house it looked like the first pictures. After a bit of work, this is what the house looks like today when Kerry took these pictures. Be patient and we will make Miss Mooreland glamorous again!

I’ve said it before, I am fairly certain if it were not for the two of you, Mooreland House would have been torn down.
It still saddens me to see the before pictures from just a few years ago to now.
I am curious as to what your plans are for the house? I know she’s a long way from being completed. I’m not sure I could part with her if I was restoring her.

Yes, we have come to that conclusion ourselves. Someone might have thought they would restore her but we think they would have given up long before now. Of course, our dream is to fix it up and live in it. We also keep leaning toward using it as a wedding venue at the same time.
