One of Frank’s sisters wanted to help a little on Miss Mooreland. She and Kerry spent a little time cleaning up one of the built in cabinets in the back hallway. This is near the stairs that has the chair lift on it. There are a few things that have the same color marble tops.

…this is the area where hunters came in and washed up after being in the fields.. gun cabinet is to the left… beautiful marble.

Yes! We were just told that the other day. Someone left a comment on the original blog page and said his dad used to clean pheasant and dove there. We were also surprised that it was used as a gun cabinet. We have confirmed the story with Susan Reed Jordan, the great granddaughter.
