We finally got all the plaster down from one of the ceilings in one of the rooms! There are quite a few more to go. It is hard to imagine the amount of sand that had to be brought in for this house during construction. The plaster is almost an inch thick in some areas. It is nice to see that things that were hidden are in good shape.

What an incredible commitment you are making to this house. The work is unbelievable for two people to take on! Are you going to drywall the ceilings?

We haven’t decided yet. No matter what we use, it will be a plaster finish. There is drywall designed to accept a plaster finish.

On a non house subject; I loved your acapella hymn posted last fall. Any chance that we will get to hear a Christmas rendition?

We haven’t had a chance to record anything together. We do plan on doing it again someday though. Our whole family loves singing.
