Topping the tower

This week’s video is when we made an attempt to stop the rain coming in the top of the tower. We were able to stop most of it but we will have to wait for warmer weather and after we solve more pressing issues before we are able to stop the rain forever. If you enjoy it… you can always share it with someone you might think will enjoy it as well.

So interesting! What will you replace the tin with (when you are able to get that far)? Any ideas who can make a parapet to match the original someday?

We hope to make it like the original. We are hoping some handy homeowners will figure out how to make the parapet and roof to match the original.

You really have to be good problem solvers to handle what Miss. Mooreland dishes out! It seems like nothing is straightforward. It’s a good thing you both love challenges! I’ll be interested to see how you repair or replace this tower roof given that “Bertha” can’t quite get you there.

We figure by the time we get done repairing the stone facade we will have some kind of platform built all the way to the roof. It will then be a simple feat to just make a new parapet and parapet roof that looks like the original. We do love challenges.

You both never cease to amaze with all of the things that you can do. And you both always have the best best best attitudes. I very much enjoy following your adventure.
