We thought we would share a tour around the property today. This will add some context when we are talking about stuff outside the Mooreland House. Kerry was able to put the video together even though she wasn’t feeling 100%. Enjoy and don’t forget to share it with others.
Bless your heart Kerry! In spite of being ill, you still managed to put together a video. I thought it would be a while before you were up and running again. ( I’m sure there’s not much running going on right now.) Frank, nice job with the drone. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks as always for the video. It’s fun to watch more Mooreland House drone footage. Get well soon Kerry! I’m so glad you didn’t get severe reactions to the virus.

Thanks! We have enjoyed having the drone. It has helped get a new perspective on the house.

One of my favorite videos. I love how we got to see all the little nooks and crannies. I particularly like that area where you guys said you had to crawl under the bushes to see what was back there. Cool angles…the architect was certainly creative in every aspect of MM. Don’t laugh, but I’d kill to have a massive magnolia at the ranch!
Kerry, take care and get plenty of rest and Frank, you stay well. Happy Valentine’s Day from Oklahoma! 💙

Thanks Linda Sue! Happy Valentines day to you as well. We love the exterior of Miss Mooreland just as much as the inside, maybe more.

Thanks for the property tour. I thought it was interesting that the cottage was older than Mooreland House.

You’re welcome. We thought it was interesting as well. Maybe one day we will find out the reason. If we do, we will let people know.

I am just finding your blog so sorry this is a delayed response. The porch on the side where you could drive under is called a porte cochère. They are usually a covered entrance large enough for vehicles to pass through.
I love all of the updates and all of the work that you are putting into saving this wonderful home!

Thanks! We have been told that but we aren’t really cultured enough to use French words for things. =)
