Fixing more slate

We started working on the side edge of the flat roof. This slate also needs to be fixed before we can start on the flat roof. This is the right side when you are facing the Mooreland House. We haven’t found a place to stop pulling slate yet. We hope this doesn’t turn into another total removal.

    Love/hate relationship with that dad gum slate! It is gorgeous though and will def be worth all the effort. Wishing you both a blessed Easter with family.

      Yes, no wonder there are very few slate roofs still around. Once fixed, it will last longer than us though. Happy Easter to you and your family as well.
