It took a little while to figure out how to do the flashing around this small ornamental metal outcropping. The solution last time someone gave the roof attention was to fill the whole area with tar and silicone caulk. The way it is flashed now should keep the water running off the roof and no tar was used.
I’m always amazed at the gorgeous detail all around this house; not just the front of the mansion. I appreciate the points of reference too Frank and Kerry. It has truly allowed me to know the house better during spot checks and repairs!

wow such a complicated build. Do you know hw long it took to build the house? It’s like a jig saw puzzle!!!

We heard that it took 5 years. It took the masons a year just to complete the foundation.
