Even though it snowed on Tuesday night, spring is still here in Kentucky. Kerry, the groundskeeper, mowed the Mooreland House yard for the second time already. The before/after effect isn’t nearly as drastic when the lawn is cut frequently. This is part of the upkeep of the Mooreland House so we like to share the pictures with our extended Mooreland House family. =)
Daffodils are so beautiful I love them. Kerry you’re hired want to come to my yard

Fantastic observation. Guess we need to break a few more windows and get more green on the house! =)

It’s so nice to see signs of Spring at the Mooreland house. Kerry, the grass looks great! The grounds are much improved since you purchased the house. Do you have any information on the additional land that used to be part of the estate? It would be wonderful if the house continued to present a rural feel with the fields surrounding it.

The 42 acres surrounding the Mooreland House are still in the hands of the prior owner. They will probably stay that way until he is no longer with us. Once he is gone it will probably be auctioned off to a developer and used to build tract houses. It is zoned as residential.
