We added 5 more stones to the wall. The stones that were just squares and rectangles were a little easier to replace. With all the different shapes it’s a little more difficult. Each mortar joint has to be exactly the same size as it was before. We are managing though.

Wow!! It’s looking so great!! You can’t see the damaged stone you were talking about in your last post at all. I can’t wait to see the before and after pictures. It’s so satisfying to see that big crack that ran down the whole front gone.

For now we just filled the crack in the broken stone with mortar. It is amazing how much different it looks without the crack.
