Today’s video is a little depressing. It shows how much work we still have to do in order to get the water coming into the Mooreland House under control. It is simply amazing the amount of water that finds its way in. There are no places where it is pouring in, but the sheer amount trickling in is shocking. This is no surprise to us. We have learned to deal with it. Know that we are on it and are going as fast as 2 people can. =)

We have a new attic opening in the Mooreland House now. The roof is supported and we have successfully removed all the brick. It isn’t very hard to remove when the mortar is just sand. There are a lot of bricks in a 15 inch wide wall.

With torrential rain and an open wall, it’s hard to keep things dry sometimes. We spent quite a bit of time mopping up water and trying to mitigate the entry as much as we could. At least we could tell what the inlaid floor used to look like in the Music Room.
