Kerry was able to move 42 bags of concrete up to the second floor of the Mooreland House all by herself! She might have had a little help from Bertha though. All Frank had to do was distribute the load around the room so 3,300 pounds wasn’t sitting in the same place. This was the definitely the easiest way to get concrete into place.
Something tells me you two don’t have a gym membership.

Are those bricks going back somewhere?
Because that’s a lot of weight.

We haven’t decided yet about the brick. Our stacks are mostly in places where there is a brick wall just below it for support.

I bet Kerry has Amazing muscles!!! She sure gets a workout!!! No need for the expensive gym membership!!! I love watching all the work you are doing to restore that house! I love old houses with all the detail and craftsmanship that went into building them!!! Thank you all for sharing your journey with us! I live in Anderson county and plan on driving by to view for myself! I have loved that house since I was a child!

We are glad to oblige. We are documenting the progress for ourselves anyway so we might as well share it with others.

Yep. Warm weather helps us sweat all the toxins out of our bodies as well.
