The concrete has had plenty of time to rest and we are ready to get back to the stone. The concrete looks much more substantial than the original bricks that were there. We are going to leave the forms on for now because we might have to rig up some braces as we go up with the stones.
Progress! You are both tireless. What an amazing effort and such dedication to the old girl.

Thanks! We prefer to use “age challenged” when referring to the ole gal. =)

You will be an “old hand” at this when you are all done. it’s so heartwarming to see what you are doing to this grand old house. I’m sure she will be beautiful again when you are finished.

I’ve watched your recent YouTube videos and I keep looking at the giant hole in the floor where the radiator used to be. I honestly can’t believe you guys and the radiator didn’t go straight through the floor. Ms. Mooreland was watching out for you guys for sure lol.

We felt exactly the same way when we uncovered the hole and saw that there was nothing holding all that up. We would have probably avoided standing on the radiator for sure!
