We aren’t sure what these stones are called but they seem to tie everything together. There are only two of them and they run the entire width of the wall we’ve been rebuilding. Now we can build some more forms and get the concrete behind this facade. We are getting closer.

Mooreland House 
When you have finished repairing and then beautifying Miss Mooreland, you will feel like you are on a first name basis with every inch of her structure. You will have touched, turned, hammered, or hauled every part of her frame, foundation and finishing touches. What a remarkable accomplishment that will be! Enjoy the adventure, day by day.😊🎶🏡

You are absolutely correct. There is nothing on the Mooreland House that doesn’t need attention. We will have gone over every inch of this lovely house.

The wall or the house? We should have the wall and dormer facade completed this fall. The Mooreland House… it will be another 9 years or so.
