Frank had a great time shaping stones at the Mooreland House. Making templates, selecting a good size stone, cutting it to shape and then test fitting and fine tuning. We had to remake about 20 stones. Talk about a dust cloud!

He’s gonna dream about that in his sleep!

Slowly the dream is turning into reality, at least for this wall anyway. =)

Yes, things are getting easier once we learn how to do them. Thanks for being as excited as we are.

You two are an amazing team. So much hard work and care put back into Miss Moreland, I’m sure she’s feeling the love. Just curious…when do you anticipate being able to occupy the house…and will you stay?

Right now we are concentrating on the structure. The whole house will need new wiring, plumbing and HVAC. For now it feels like we will just be working on it forever. It will probably be another two or three years before we get all the walls rebuilt and the roof completely done. We constantly consider just putting the rest on hold while we make a small living space inside but she still needs some major attention before that can become a reality. As far as “will you stay”… we will be working on the Mooreland House until we can’t work anymore because we love what we are doing.
