As promised, here are some before and after pictures. The “pre-before” picture is from an internet search that turned up a slew of pictures taken in 2007 that a person called McGervey put on his photo account. It was taken when the Mooreland House (Ashfeld Manor at the time) was for sale. The “before” picture is what it looked like when we started on the wall project and the “after” picture is what it looks like now. We tried to make the stones close to what was in the “pre-before” picture but we were limited to the size of stones we had to work with. We included an extra picture with red dots depicting the stones that were missing or destroyed.
Pre-before Before After Red dots are stones we had to remake or replace
Excellent work guys. I am amazed at how many different directions you two can go. Very impressive. The picture of the hallway is on your page is from approx. 1894. I scanned it and sent it to the Harrodsburg Historical folks for inclusion in their annual calendar. I have the original.

Thanks Jim. We are trying to make sure the descendants are happy with the things we are doing to this grand ole lady.
