The concrete looks great! The pour worked very well. We took off the forms and there are no voids. It isn’t as cool looking as the brick arches but it is hidden anyway. This should definitely hold up the dormer facade.

With all of that new cement, it’s a good thing that the original builders spent a year building the foundation! You are giving Miss Mooreland strong, heavy duty concrete muscles to support her fancy stonework for many decades to come. I hope that you get this part of the house enclosed before the winter snows begin!⛄️❄️💨

We figure the concrete weighs about the same as all the brick and mortar that we are replacing. Unless we hit some kind of snag… we should beat the snow. =)

Yes, unfortunately you are correct, most people would have just torn the Mooreland House down and built a couple new houses.
