We got another couple rows of bricks in. We decided to change tactics and not use the inside brick wall as the concrete form. Now we will shift focus to getting the forms done instead of building back this brick wall. We also put the lower part of the crown molding back up and it fits just like it should!

What prompted you to decide not to use the brick wall as the form?? The crown molding looks fantastic. I think the other pieces will as well. I thought some may be missing and hope that is not the case.

After having a blowout with the stones we have been hesitant to use anything that is done with the lime mortar as a form. The lime mortar takes quite a while to set up. We decided this would be more expeditious. Once again, thanks for the very well thought out and educated comments. We think we have all the crown molding.
