We moved the forms up and are ready for the next batch of concrete. We have standouts going through the forms to attach the box gutter and crown molding to. The standouts will be encased in the concrete. This is the last big pour! We are 2 inches from the top of the wall.

I’m so glad that you can do all of this work in the sunshine! When you are done, you’ll be able to make a fantastic movie on how to save a house that was falling down all around you when you became Miss Mooreland’s owners. Everyday you are getting closer to the finish line, even though it might be years away. Your persistence is impressive!

What a relief to be almost done. It seemed like such a daunting task but you’ve both worked so hard and learned so many skills. Mooreland House is lucky you found her. I’m really enjoying your YouTube story, the drama is the relationship with the house – she’s a character all on her own!

I admire the determination that both of you show in the restoration of this beauty! Frank is quite an engineer when it comes to the restoration process. I can only imagine this analytical thinking goes hand in hand with him being a pilot. I look forward to the videos!
