In this week’s video, Frank explains how much he loves doing brick work. He is thankful that he is a pilot and not a mason. The wall is coming along. It is nice to see we are finally wearing jackets in the video since it is the middle of winter. Shh, don’t tell anyone that you knew this was done in November or so. =)

It has been a little over a year since we got Bertha (our telehandler) and took down the stone dormer facade. We didn’t know at the time that we would have to rebuild the entire wall that held it up. We are now almost caught up with the videos and you can tell because Frank is starting to wear a jacket. =)

Months ago we embarked on a task that we admitted was very daunting for us. In the video today, we complete that task. Looking back, it was scary to start but we are very pleased with the result. Thanks to everyone for sticking with us while we did this project. We enjoy taking all of you with us on our journey.

We share many opinions on what we think of all the forms we have had to do on this wall project. We know everyone is excited to see another time lapse of us pouring concrete but… it is part of the journey we are all on. We are getting very close to the videos of the dormer stones going back up!
