We now have another clean up job to do in the basement. It was much easier to just let all the rot fall to the basement floor than try to collect it on the rotten floor. There is now a big hole.

Might be little floor left to fall thru – but that step is a BIG one – when you do take it – careful!

Yes, and the thin concrete floor in the basement is probably not very forgiving.

That looks like heavy, dirty work. Think how good it will feel to get all that rotten debris out of your house!

Absolutely, it will help dry the house out as well. All this debris was still holding moisture from the back flat roof leaking so much.
