We successfully got the arch stones down and the large stones on each side that were precariously balanced. See if you can find the snake shed in the last picture. We didn’t expect to see that 45 feet up in a stone wall.

I had to blow the picture up very large before I was the snake skin. Weird! It looks like the bricks are “unzipping” themselves, does that mean you have to rebuild the walls foundation up?

We don’t think we will have to take this wall down as far. Good job finding the snake skin. =)

How far down will you have to take this to stabilize?

We hope that we will just have to go to the bottom of the metal cornice molding. For now we are just taking it to the bottom of the dormer stones and will close it up until we can get back to it.
