We finally get around to cleaning up the front portico. Kerry threw in a little footage of other projects around the Mooreland House. We have been getting stuff done but Frank has been neglecting his job of updating the blog. We should be back to the blog by the end of next week. Hope you enjoy today’s video.

Kerry had a lot of time lapse videos from when we finally got around to cleaning up all of our debris piles around the Mooreland House. It had been a long time coming. It is nice that we are in a spot where we feel comfortable enough to clean up instead of just pressing on with saving the house. We hope you enjoy something different from all the stone and brick.

We decided to move the scaffolding off of the back flat roof. It was there for over a year and the synthetic felt is worn out. We need to strip all of it off and put some permanent roofing back. What a mess.

We got tired of emptying buckets under the little flat roof. We got up there and removed the worn out synthetic felt and replaced it with a heavy duty tarp. It will be nice when we finally get to the support under this roof so we can get the permanent roofing back on.
