We finished the joists and got in a temporary floor in the attic. The attic is safer now than it has been since we got the Mooreland House. We can now move on to other things. Thanks for watching!

We find another post that wasn’t properly supported in this week’s video. We put in a few more joists and remove quite a bit of the old flooring in the attic. We will be able to reuse the flooring.

Can you believe we have been doing YouTube videos on the Mooreland House for almost three years? We have made so many temporary repairs that it is becoming almost comical. This is the last time we will have to jack up the roof so we take out all of the jacking posts we left in “just in case”. We are getting very close to wrapping up this attic episode and getting on to other parts of the house. See you again next Sunday!

After years of the temporary post holding up the roof of the Mooreland House, we finally take it down. We now have the roof at the exact point it needs to be and we are moving on to the permanent goal. Thanks for following along on our journey!

Now that we have a solid beam we can start supporting the roof of the Mooreland House again. It is nice to get the temporary posts out of the way and finally make a solid connection. We find out that not all of the roof was the same height but we will fix that!
