Back Stairwell

We have been a little concerned with the back stairwell in the Mooreland House. We decided to do some discovery and took down the lath and plaster. It definitely needs some attention. It is still holding together and we learned a lot about how it was built.

Also I forgot to add, all the different ways you guys pronounce Porte Cochere cracks me up! Just say, “Port Coshare” and you’ve got it! You’ll sound fancy. 🇨🇦
