We are back to a little bit of mortar work. Kerry tries out her new Collomix TMX 1000 paddle mixer. Frank does a little brick work. We have been wanting to get to this corner for years. It was truly an eyesore and probably a little dangerous with the loose bricks.

Tower Discovery!
We go to the top of the Tower and pull off the boards covering the bricks. As everyone knows, it turned out about the same as everyone has learned to expect. There were cracks in some of the corners so we will have to mitigate the inside coarse of bricks along with rebuilding the outside. Good thing we like doing this kind of stuff. =)
Trying Out Genie!
We had quite a few small areas that needed patched on the Mooreland House roof. A storm had come through the area and we lost quite a few slates off the front roof. Since we had Genie and a few hours, we decided to try it out and see how easy it was to manuever the boom lift to all the areas that needed patched. It worked better than we imagined! By the way, we still have Bertha. We will need them both for quite a while.
Introducing Genie
We finally get around to introducing our new piece of machinery. It’s an 80 foot manlift. We also build a truly temporary floor so we can finish taking down the interior walls and trim in the small downstairs bathroom. Thanks for stopping by and watching our video.
Temporary Floor
We now have a solid floor with a temporary subfloor that we can walk across. For the first time in a little over three years, we now have a shortcut through the Mooreland House. Hopefully we will still be able to get our steps in on our fitbits. =)
