We think that the Mooreland House is a little upset with us. We haven’t been spending near enough time on her because we had family in town. She let us know how disappointed she was by throwing a big chunk of drywall and plaster on the floor. This is also a reminder of why we can’t let a lot of people wander around inside. She could have really hurt someone. Don’t worry, we are going to get back on track and start making her happy again.

Maybe she was just shedding a little “extra weight” for the New Year?

Maybe she was just tired of that light fixture that doesn’t match her style so she tried to be done with it once and for all….or she could be throwing a little temper tantrum. Even well bred ladies of class like Miss Mooreland get angry. 🤣🤣

Ha! Have we ever told the story about the light fixtures? They are lights that were picked up at a flea market for 5 bucks each and are not even hooked up. They are attached to the ceiling with baling wire. They were trying to hide the fact that they were stripping the house before it was foreclosed on.

I think she’s trying to tell you it’s time to move inside for the winter. You know how pushy a woman can be to get what she wants.

Yes, the weather has been telling us that as well. We have new heaters now in an attempt to make it tolerable inside. Last year during the winter it wasn’t much fun at all.

She’s just trying to help with the demolition, to make it easier to start the restoration.

Another great point! We hope she doesn’t decide to help when we are walking underneath her target area. =)
